Rain Increasing This Weekend

Frontal systems continue to move into the northern half of the state but they weaken before they make it to us. A few more will make runs at the region and eventually push all the way through. We see our rain chances going up and that could have some impact on your outdoor plans over the weekend.

In the meantime, our sky will look mostly cloudy overnight. Temps will fall into the lower 60s for lows. We expect a partly sunny sky with temps warming into the lower to mid 80s Thursday afternoon. It’s going to be just about a repeat each day throughout the week. Temps will warm even more and we could be approaching summer-like levels Friday. That’s highs in the mid to upper 80s!

The upcoming weekend will look a bit different as a frontal system approaches the state. Clouds will be on the increase and showers will follow. The best chance for rain activity will come Sunday. That’s when the front sits across our area and a disturbance rides along it. We’re on the backside of the frontal system early next week. Temps will drop a bit and return to levels about average for April. Temps top out in the mid to upper 70s and lows in the mid to upper 50s.
