Action 8 golf tournament raises money to help fight hunger
All of us at WAKA Action 8 News would like to thank those who took part in our “Driving Out Hunger” golf tournament, which raised money to help fight hunger in the River Region.
All of the money raised benefitted the Heart of Alabama Food Bank. The proceeds are still being tallied. Once we have an update, we will pass it along.
This year’s tournament was held at Lagoon Park Golf Course in Montgomery.
We would like to thank ASE Credit Union, Lexus of Montgomery, Alabama State University and The Home Depot, along with our many other sponsors who helped make it a successful event.
