Mainly dry Mother’s Day, showers and storms next week
Saturday’s weather was picture perfect for May. Morning low temperatures dipped into the mid 50s in many locations- a refreshing cool-down from the very warm and humid air of the last week or so. Sunshine was abundant throughout the day. There was also a nice northwest breeze. Winds become light overnight, while some clouds move in from the west. Temperatures turn cooler again, with lows in the mid to upper 50s.
Mother’s Day remains mainly dry, though some clouds fill the sky during the day. Temperatures remain warm, with highs in the low to mid 80s. Scattered rain and some storms return Monday. Scattered showers and some storms continue Monday night into Tuesday morning. There may be a lull in rain and storms late Tuesday through Wednesday. However, more rain and storms appear possible late next week.
