Dallas County man killed in crash between pickup, tractor-trailer
A Dallas County man has been killed in a wreck involving a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer truck.
Alabama State Troopers say 51-year-old Walter Paige of Marion Junction was driving the pickup when it was hit by the tractor-trailer truck, driven by 44-year-old Thomas Rocha of El Paso, Texas.
Investigators say Paige was not using a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Rocha was also hurt and taken to Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma for treatment.
The wreck happened last night at about 8:40PM on U.S. Highway 80, about three miles east of Uniontown.
