Several Drier Days Ahead This Week

A frontal boundary is heading our way and it will move through the area overnight. We’re on the backside of the boundary tomorrow and you’re going to notice a slight change in our weather conditions the rest of the week. Drier northwesterly winds will set up over the area and this will usher in milder air. for a change. It will still warm up but humidity levels will drop a bit and that will make all the difference. High pressure will build over the region and we expect a mainly sunny sky with temps warming into the mid to upper 80s through the week. Overnight temps will fall into the lower to mid 60s.

Looks like we will be transitioning back to scattered showers and storms over the upcoming weekend. The ridge of high pressure will move farther east of us and that will setup southeasterly wind flow over the area. As a result, moisture streams into the state and scattered showers and storms will be possible each day. Temps will still manage the mid to upper 80s for highs.
