Man shot near Air Base Boulevard in Montgomery

Action 8 News has confirmed that a man was shot near Air Base Boulevard Tuesday morning.

Montgomery Police Department Maj. Saba Coleman said officers were called to the 800 block of Westview Drive just before 10AM. That is near the Gibbs Village public housing community.

Coleman says the man had a non-life threatening gunshot injuries and was taken to a hospital.

No other information has been released.
