Auburn’s Megan Schofill is set to play in the U.S. Women’s Open Golf Championship

Auburn’s Megan Schofill will compete in the U.S. Women’s Open at the Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Schofill was able to earn an exemption by winning the 2023 U.S. Women’s Amateur and will be one of 21 amateurs in the field and one of 156 players.

Schofill is now the 10th Auburn golfer to play in the U.S. Women’s Open and the first since Haley Wilson in 2012.

Schofill will begin the opening round at 7:02 a.m. CT paired with Ruoning Yin and defending champion Allisen Corpuz.

Live coverage of the tournament will be streaming on Peacock from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. CT, then televised on USA Network from 1-7 p.m. CT on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, streaming coverage on Peacock will be from noon-2 p.m. CT before television coverage from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. on NBC. For Sunday’s final round, Peacock will provide streaming coverage from 1-2 p.m. CT followed by television coverage on USA Network from 2-3 p.m. CT and NBC from 3-6 p.m. CT.
