Man recovering after a Sunday morning shooting in Montgomery

A man is recovering after an early morning shooting in Montgomery. A man came into a local hospital just before 7 o’clock this morning with a gunshot wound. MPD determined the shooting happened in the 200 block of Burgwyn Road, which is just off the East South Boulevard. According to police, the man’s injuries are said to be non life-threatening. No arrests have been made and the shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call crime stoppers at (334) 215-stop.
