Some sunshine, some storms, and some early June heat this week
Some sunshine Sunday resulted in much warmer temperatures on average than Saturday. Highs were in the mid to upper 80s. Some showers and storms formed during the afternoon, then faded away during the evening. Some heavy downpours, some thunder and lightning, but nothing severe. Routine summertime stuff. Similar weather continues into the start of this week. Sunday night looks partly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s.
Monday looks partly cloudy and hot with high temperatures approaching 90°. Again, a handful of showers or storms form during the afternoon, and linger into the evening. However, many locations may remain dry with sunshine through the afternoon.
