Troy man killed in Crenshaw County ATV crash

A Troy man has been killed when he crashed the all-terrain vehicle he was driving in Crenshaw County.

Alabama State Troopers say 41-year-old Elvis Bowles was driving the ATV on a road, but crashed into an embankment. Investigators say he was thrown off and died at the scene.

The crash happened at about 4:10PM Friday on Athens Church Road near Golden Road, approximately four miles east of Luverne, in Crenshaw County.
