Pay It Forward: Jalisa Rogers of Montgomery
Jalisa Rogers is a nurse at UAB Internal Medicine in Montgomery and she goes above and beyond to help her patients.
“I nominated Jalisa because I’ve been here coming up on two years when I first came on the job. She was so welcoming and she was so helpful. I just started shadowing her and watching her. She’s just so helpful and not only with me, but her personality is just infectious,” said Selena Tucker Boyd.
For Rogers, nursing is not just a job.
“It’s a passion. It is a passion to give,” said Rogers.
She says she learned to care for others from her mother.
And she has this advice for others.
“Just remain faithful. That’s the number one, remain faithful. I always pray and put God first. Just remain faithful and stay encouraged,” said Rogers.
