The Selma-Dallas County Public Library kicked off its annual summer program this week.
Scores of kids came out to the library’s — Petting Zoo and Popsicles event — Wednesday morning.
Library officials say for the next 8 weeks — the library will host a variety of events — to bring families out to the library — to learn together.
“Gosh. In store we have jugglers, magicians, we have crafts, we have music, we have stories. We have a phenomenal outline of two months, sometimes morning and evening, afternoon programming. We’re after families learning together,” said library director Becky Nichols.
