Comedian Eitan Levine Pitches for World Record
When he walks on the mound at a new ballpark, comedian Eitan Levine is on a mission.
Levine is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for most ceremonial first pitches in a year and raise money for Make-a-Wish.
His next stop is the Montgomery Biscuits, which will bring his total to 13 pitches, a quarter of the way to his goal of 50.
From Alabama to to Maine to Colorado, to throw the first pitch at Colorado Rockies game on Monday, Levine has been flying all over the country.
“I don’t know what time zone I’m in,” Levine said. “I think I’ve slept a total of eight hours in the last four days. I’m running on Celsius and coffee and excitement.”
But Levine says it’s worth it to raise money for Make-a-Wish. The organization granted Levine his wish to perform stand-up comedy in New York Cit,y when he battled childhood cancer.
“The benefit of Make A Wish– Yes it’s cool to meet John Cena, it’s cool to go to Disney,” he said, “but the real benefit to me is that it gives you a break. Like for a day or two you’re not getting poked and prodded or needled. And like cancer is the second thing you’re thinking about.”

The Biscuits game versus Biloxi is set for 3:33 p.m. on Sunday.
