Mainly dry, hotter Sunday; Some showers or storms Sunday night
Saturday’s weather was about as nice as it gets in early June for our area. Temperatures cooled all the way into the 50s in many locations Friday night. After a refreshing start to the day, abundant sunshine warmed temperatures to near 90°. However, the humidity was low, so heat indices were near or just below afternoon air temperatures. Saturday night looks mostly clear and not as cool, with lows in the upper 60s.
Sunday looks partly to mostly sunny and hotter, with highs in the mid 90s. Some showers or storms appear possible Sunday night into Monday morning. Coverage remains widely scattered, so some locations may not get any rain. A front passes through and south of our area Monday. Temperatures remain cooler as a result, with highs in the upper 80s.
The rain chance remains rather low Tuesday and perhaps Wednesday. The coverage of daytime showers and storms rises late next week into next weekend. Meanwhile, temperatures remain hot, with highs in the low 90s each day.
