A Drier Weather Pattern Settling Over The Region
A drier weather pattern has returned and it will be sticking around for several days. We’re on the backside of a frontal boundary and that has us setup in a northerly wind flow. Drier air is spilling into the area and you will notice it with lower humidity levels for a few days. High pressure along with abundant sunshine will help maintain rainfree conditions for most of the week. Morning temps start out in the lower to mid 60s and then afternoon temps reach the upper 80s to lower 90s. The heat will ramp up a bit more late week. We are likely going to see temps manage mid 90s Friday and Saturday.  We begin to see moisture returning to the area late in the weekend into early next week. Gulf moisture will stream into the region and our rain chances will begin to climb. There could even be a tropical connection to the rains moving into the area Monday into Tuesday. It’s early but model data showing a system moving through the gulf next week. It’s something we will be watching with interest this week. In the meantime, enjoy the less humid conditions while they last.
