$2,500 reward offered in Alexander City shooting that left one dead, two injured
A $2,500 reward is being offered in the hopes of solving the investigation into a shooting in Alexander City that left one person dead and two others injured.
The shooting happened at around 12:30AM on Sunday, June 9, at Benson’s Community Center on North Central Avenue in Alexander City. Police say 19-year-old Jay’z’ion Strong of Goodwater was found dead at the scene.
Police say two others were taken to a hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
Police are seeking information from anyone who may have seen the shooting or have any other details about it.
