Man injured in shooting on Atlanta Highway in Montgomery

A man has been injured in a shooting on Atlanta Highway in Montgomery.

Police Maj. Saba Coleman told Action 8 News that the shooting happened at about 9:17PM Monday. Officers found the man at a hospital where he was being treated for what she called a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He had been taken to the hospital in a personal vehicle.

Coleman said the shooting happened in the 3400 block of Atlanta Highway, which is near the intersection of Forest Hills Drive, not far from the Coliseum Boulevard intersection.
