Suspected burglar caught in Dallas Co. after his car runs out of gas

A Selma man is facing burglary charges — after he’s allegedly caught on tape committing the crimes — and the stolen property — is found in his car.

Sheriff MWal Dcburglar0621 Voike Granthum says 44 year old Justin Paul Gates — is charged with two counts of third-degree burglary.

Granthum says Gates was arrested about a mile away from the burglary. His car had run out of gas. And the stolen property was inside the vehicle.

Granthum says Gates and his vehicle — were also caught on surveillance video during the break-in.

Gates is in the Perry Co. Correctional Facility — on $15,000 dollars bond.
