Selma mayor announces community meetings for July

Selma Mayor James Perkins, Jr., has announced a series of community meetings that he hopes will inform residents of the performance and goals of various city departments.

“It is extremely important for citizens to become informed about the  great progress and great challenges we are faced with in our community. I strongly encourage all citizens to please take advantage of this opportunity to get first-hand  information from the people who are doing the work and not from social media keyboard  artist,” Perkins said in a statement.
