ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police launch homicide investigation after shooting victim dies
ACTION 8 UPDATE: A man who was shot Monday evening in Montgomery has now died of his injuries.
Police say 67-year-old Holloway Vason of Montgomery was shot at around 7:15PM Monday in the 3400 block of Woodley Road. That location is just south of the bypass.
Vason was taken to a hospital for treatment but died on Thursday, police announced late Friday night.
Police have launched a homicide investigation into his death.
No other information has been released about the shooting.
