WAKA Action 8 unveils new live weather camera in Millbrook
Action 8 now has a live camera in Millbrook as part of our Johnny Adams Law Firm Weather Camera Network.
This camera can capture live video of incoming storms in every direction. When the weather’s good, you can see all kinds of outdoor activities.
As Action 8 Chief Meteorologist Shane Butler will show you in the video above, the new camera shows everything from the new 17 Springs recreational, retail and entertainment complex to Highway 14 and Interstate 65. It is mounted high enough to see the Montgomery downtown skyline to the south and the Wind Creek casino in Wetumpka to the east.
The Johnny Adams Law Firm Weather Camera Network also includes live cameras in Montgomery, Selma, Troy, Greenville, Lake Martin/Kowaliga, Demopolis and Opp.
Action 8 has the only live TV weather camera in Millbrook, and we thank Mayor Al Kelley and the city of Millbrook for helping to get it installed.
