Man in critical condition in shooting on Eastern Boulevard

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that critically injured a man.

Maj. Saba Coleman tells Action 8 News that officers and fire medics responded around 9:10 p.m. Tuesday to the 3800 block of Eastern Boulevard on a person shot. This is near the intersection at Troy Highway.

Once they arrived, they found an adult male victim with a life-threatening gunshot wound. The unidentified victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No word on suspects at this time.
