Suspect arrested in shooting on Chantilly Parkway, no injuries reported

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting on the east side of town.

Maj. Saba Coleman tells Action 8 News that officers and fire medics responded around 12:50 p.m. to the 8500 block of Eastchase Parkway after receiving a call of a shooting in the area.

Contact was made with a female victim who told police that there was damage to her vehicle as a result of gunfire.

It was later determined that the offense occurred in the parking lot of a business in the 10000 block of Chantilly Parkway.

Montgomery police arrested 29-year-old Kiishun Woods, of Montgomery. She is charged with Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Vehicle.

Maj. Coleman said there was no one was injured and there was no damage to the building of the business.
