Central Alabama Community Foundation expanding into East Alabama
Montgomery-based Central Alabama Community Foundation is expanding into East Alabama.
The Foundation is partnering with the Community Foundation of East Alabama to enhance philanthropic services and community impact across a broader region of the state. As a result of the partnership, the Community Foundation of East Alabama will now be known as the East Alabama Community Foundation.
What started on July 1, the partnership will allow the Foundation to extend its resources, expertise and support to the East Alabama area.
As a result of the merger, the CACF’s services will expand into Lee, Chambers, Russell and Tallapoosa counties.
CACF officials say the EACF will be able to address critical issues such as education and family wellness, along with cultural and community enhancement.
“We are excited to welcome the Community Foundation of East Alabama into the CACF family,” said Burton Crenshaw, President of CACF. “This integration represents a significant step forward in our mission to serve and support the diverse needs of our communities. Together, we can leverage our collective strengths to make an even greater impact in East Alabama.”
