Lowe’s helps Alabama National Fair replace equipment and tools lost in fire
Workers at the Lowe’s store in Prattville are helping the Alabama National Fair.
Today, Lowe’s replaced nearly all of the equipment and tools that were lost in a fire at the Alabama National Fair this spring.
As Action 8 News has reported, a large barn caught fire at Garrett Coliseum in March during the SLE Rodeo.
The Lowe’s team rolled into the coliseum with a truckload of replacement equipment and tools.
“We’ve got a relationship with Lowe’s and what they’ve done today, it is absolutely amazing,” Alabama National Fair General Manager Randy Stephenson said. “This will allow us to move forward in setting up the fair. We told you then we were going to have a fair come October 4, and I promise you, come October 4, we’re going to have the best fair we’ve ever had.”
“We are represented today by all of the districts in the state of Alabama, which is a big thing, but this is the Alabama National Fair, so we came together as a team to support one of my greatest memories growing up, and my kids’ greatest memories is being able to attend in Alabama National Fair,” Craig Hill, the manager of the Lowe’s in Prattville, said.
