Montgomery police investigating gunfire in County Downs neighborhood

Montgomery police say they are investigating two instances of gunfire in the County Downs neighborhood.

Police Maj. Saba Coleman told Action 8 News the first case of gunfire happened at around 8:56PM Sunday in the 500 block of County Downs Road. Coleman said there were no reported injuries or property damage.

Coleman said at about 9:37AM Monday, officers responded to the same location to a report of damage from gunfire. She said they were told there was damage to a home.

No other information has been released.

County Downs is located off Atlanta Highway, east of Perry Hill Road.
