Florida murder suspect arrested in Autauga County
On July 24, 2024, the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office in Florida regarding a suspect with a Felony Grand Theft warrant, who is also a suspect in a murder in their jurisdiction.
The location was identified at Daisy’s Restaurant in on Alabama Highway 14 in Autaugaville.
The suspect was taken into custody by the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office without incident and the restaurant was secured to conduct a search warrant for evidence in the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office case.
Evidence was located in the restaurant by Autauga County Investigators. The suspect is being held by the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office to be extradited to Manatee County, Florida. The public was never in danger and the restaurant owner was not involved in this case.
