ACTION 8 UPDATE: Second arrest made in Montgomery County murder

ACTION 8 UPDATE: A second person has now been charged with a man’s murder in Montgomery County.

Montgomery County Assistant Chief Deputy Wesley Richerson said 25-year-old Nehemiah Belser has been charged with capital murder. He was arrested today.

A juvenile has already been arrested and charged with murder in the case.

As Action 8 News has reported, 79-year-old Rueben Squire was found dead of a gunshot wound at a home in the 6000 block of West Hickory Grove Road at around 2:30AM Friday. The home is in south Montgomery County.

Richerson said this remains an active investigation. No other information has been released.
