1 man dead, 1 critically injured in Saturday morning shooting in Montgomery

One man is dead and another is critically injured after a Saturday morning shooting in Montgomery.

At 11:22 a.m., MPD responded to a local hospital in reference to subjects shot. Officers made contact with 44 year old Samuel Brown, who sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased.

Contact was also made with an adult male who sustained a life-threatening gunshot
wound. It was determined that the offense occurred in the 2400 block of Locust Street.
MPD is conducting a Homicide and Attempted Murder Investigation.
