JAG flag football takes on first season behind Jordan Graves
JAG flag football is kicking off its first-ever season this fall. That means there’s a lot to learn for some players — but not everyone. JAG flag football quarterback Jordan Graves played tackle football with the boys in middle school.
“Right now it’s something I already knew much of because I’ve already done tackle football,” Graves said. “So I already kind of knew a lot of this stuff, and we’re in the process of getting a coach. I’ve been practicing with Percy Julian’s team.”
Graves said she’s naturally brave, which helped her be confident playing tackle football.
“My mom likes to call me a crash test dummy,” she said. “I used to get injured a lot when I was little. So I’m guessing getting injured so much when I was younger just prepared me for what I was going to do when I got older.”
