Houses, car hit by gunfire near downtown Prattville

Prattville police are investigating gunfire that left houses and a car with damage.

Prattville Police Chief Mark Thompson told Action 8 News the gunfire happened last night around 11PM on Cosby Court, which is just north of downtown.

Thompson said investigators have recovered 56 shell casings. He said three or four houses were hit in addition to a vehicle.

No one was hurt.
