One person injured in overturned tractor trailer accident

One person had minor injuries following an overturned tractor trailer accident Friday morning.

Lt. Jeremy Burkett with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency tells Action 8 News that the accident happened around 10:30 a.m. on U.S. 31 near I-65 in Hope Hull.

The accident didn’t cause any issues with traffic in the area.

This was the first of two overturned trucks in the Montgomery area.

The second happened a couple of hours later on the southbound ramp of I-65 at the Northern Boulevard exit.

The accident caused the ramp to close until the truck could be moved.

Lt. Burkett said no one was injured in that accident.
