1 dead, 1 injured in Montgomery double shooting

Montgomery police are investigating a double shooting that left one man dead and another injured.

Maj. Saba Coleman tells Action 8 News that around 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, police and fire medics were called to the 4600 block of Virginia Loop Road in response to a shooting there.

Once they arrived, they found an adult male victim, identified as 30-year-old Marcus Bellinger, of Montgomery, with a fatal gunshot wound. Bellinger was pronounced dead on the scene.

Officers also made contact with an additional adult male victim at a local hospital who had a life-threatening gunshot wound.

No word on any suspects at this time.
