Strong To Severe Storms Possible This Weekend!
A frontal boundary will move through the deep south this weekend. This boundary will help generate more widespread coverage of showers and t-storms both days. Some storms will be capable of heavy rainfall, frequent lightning strikes, and damaging wind gust. Be aware that some storms could have an impact on your outdoor plans. Temps will manage mid to upper 90s for highs and heat indices will climb above 100 to 110 again.
The frontal boundary will push through and another surge of dry air will head our way early next week. Once again, we get to experience fairly comfortable morning along with warm and dry afternoons. The humidity levels will be lower and that will make a big difference.
Down in the tropics we’re tracking Hurricane Ernesto located near Bermuda. The storm passes near or over Bermuda Saturday. All indications are the tropical system will turn northeast and not be a threat to the U. S. east coast.
