ACTION 8 UPDATE: Reward now $7,500 in hopes of solving Montgomery man’s shooting death
ACTION 8 UPDATE: The reward for information to solve a Montgomery man’s shooting death has now risen to $7,500.
Police say at about 11:45PM on Saturday, March 16, they were called to the 3700 block of Woodley Road, outside of the bypass. That’s where they found 36-year-old Quinton Harris of Montgomery dead of a gunshot wound.
Police also responded to a hospital where they found three men suffering from gunshot wounds. They said the wounds were non-life threatening.
No other details have been released.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers had announced a $1,000 reward in June. It has now increased its amount to $2,500, with Montgomery City Council member Oronde Mitchell adding $5,000, to bring the total to $7,500 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the shooter(s).
