A Few Showers Around Thursday

The dry air over the region will continue to give way to an easterly wind flow Thursday.  This wind flow will help push moisture through the area and showers along with a few t-storms can’t be ruled out Thursday.

That easterly wind flow will transport Atlantic moisture into most of our area. Scattered showers will develop and push westward during the day.   Temps will only manage the upper 80s to around 90 degrees for highs.

The upcoming weekend is looking typical for August.  We expect a mostly sunny sky along with only a slight chance for a shower.  Temps will continue to reach the lower 90s for highs and overnight lows in the lower 70s.

Next week is going to be trending mainly dry and hot!  An isolated shower or pop t-storm will be possible but don’t count on them.  The heat will be the bigger story as temps climb into the mid to upper 90s once again.
