Some showers or storms Thursday; Mainly sunny and dry Friday

Thursday morning looked a bit different than recent mornings. Clouds became more widespread after sunrise. Additionally, some showers and storms were ongoing prior to sunrise in east Alabama. Although, our area was mainly dry at midday. However, isolated to widely scattered showers or storms form during the afternoon. For rain-free locations, some sunshine may warm temperatures into the low 90s.

Some rain lingers Thursday evening, but fades away Thursday night with a quickly clearing sky. Temperatures may cool into the 60s by sunrise Friday. Friday looks like a very nice day, with abundant sunshine, an east breeze, and high temperatures in the low 90s. This weekend looks mainly dry, with only a stray shower or two Saturday and Sunday.

Next week begins mainly dry, but rain chances may rise slightly towards the end of the week. Temperatures also trend hotter, with highs in the mid 90s Monday. However, Tuesday through Thursday look even hotter, with highs in the upper 90s.
