Late August Is Looking Rather Hot!

A northeasterly wind flow has been established and that’s going to allow drier air to continue flowing into the area.  We expect a mainly clear sky and rain chances slimming down to nearly zero over the next several days.   Temps will  manage the upper 80s to  lower 90s for highs and overnight lows comfortable in the mid to upper 60s over the weekend.

Next week is going to continue mainly dry and the heat will be cranking up!   We expect temps to climb into the upper 90s by midweek.  Moisture will be limited and rain chances remain low until the latter half of the week.   An isolated shower or pop t-storm will be possible but nothing too significant.

Down in the tropics it remains rather quiet with nothing brewing at the moment.  There’s still plenty of time let in the tropical season.  We will be approaching the peak of the season as we head into September.  More than likely, storm activity will begin to pick up again as we progress through the month.
