Five men from Bessemer are arrested for burglary in Dallas County — after they’re caught inside a bingo hall — that was recently shut down by authorities.

Sgt. Kenny Hardin says the incident happen at around 11 o’clock Monday night at Selma Charity Bingo.

He says deputies responded to a burglary-in-progress call — and found the five men inside the building.

“The subjects, all five of them are from the Bessemer area,” Hardin said.

“And they come up here and broke into a building that was locked and seized by the courts here. So, we charged them all five with burglary and placed them in the Dallas County Jail,” Hardin said.
