Man dies after being shot on Federal Drive in Montgomery

Montgomery police say a man has died after being shot on Federal Drive.

Police Maj, Saba Coleman told Action 8 News that the shooting happened this afternoon at about 4:24PM in the 1500 block of Federal Drive, which is near Garrett Coliseum.

Coleman said the man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name hasn’t been released.

She said the police department is now conducting a death investigation.

No other information has been released.
