Two men arrested in Troy shooting investigation
Troy police say they’ve arrested two men following a shooting that happened earlier this month.
Police say the shooting happened at around 2:43AM on August 11 in the 300 block of Aster Avenue. Three people were injured. Two of the people had to be airlifted to a Montgomery hospital, but their injuries aren’t considered life-threatening. The third person was treated and released at the scene.
Police say several apartment buildings and cars were hit in the shooting.
They have charged these two men:
23-year-old Ha’Keem Rease of Troy: Charged with three counts of firing a gun into an occupied building and two counts of firing a gun into an occupied vehicle. He was given a $450,000 bond.
18-year-old Jamari Powell of Troy: Charged with firing a gun into an occupied building. He was given a $50,000 bond.
