Butler County School System in Need of School Bus Drivers
The Butler County school year is off to a great start but the Transportation Department could use some help ensuring students get to and from school safely.
Children are the most precious cargo carried by school busses and Butler County could use your help driving those busses. Both full time and substitute bus drivers are needed to fill vacancies left from the 2023-2024 school year with full time positions incurring excellent benefits such as retirement, medical insurance and 401K benefits.
Although drivers are needed the main focus is safety. The school system is looking for dedicated drivers, those who. care for children and are able to pass background and state DHR testing.
The position is typically 5 days a week 4 hours per day with a starting pay of $23 an hour in addition to having paid summer leave.
