Significant soaking rain likely to end this week, drier this weekend

Thursday’s weather looks different than recent days, not only due to widespread cloud-cover, but also some showers in the mix. Clouds and a low chance for rain keep temperatures cooler, with highs in the low to mid 80s. Thursday night looks cloudy with lows in the low 70s, and rain becoming more widespread late. Steady soaking rain looks likely throughout much of Friday. That keeps highs temperatures in the 70s to around 80°.

Rain amounts may be near or above 1″ across much of our area through Friday night. The rain mostly comes to a close Saturday morning. However, some clouds linger this weekend. High temperatures may be anywhere between the low and upper 80s Saturday depending on cloud-cover. Sunday looks partly to mostly sunny and dry with highs in the mid to upper 80s.

Next week begins dry, with a partly to mostly cloudy sky Monday through Wednesday. Again, temperatures depend on cloud coverage. High temperatures may remain in the 80s with more clouds in the sky. However, more sunshine results in high temperatures closer to 90°. Some rain may return to our area towards the end of the week.
