2nd defendant sentenced in death of Montgomery teen
One of the defendants in the death of a Montgomery teen in 2020 will spend the rest of his life in prison after pleading guilty to murder.
Montgomery County District Attorney Daryl Bailey said Keontae Davidson was sentenced to life in prison for his role in the brutal death of 17-year-old Lesley Luna Pantaleon.
Pantaleon’s body was found in Catoma Creek off of Old Selma Road on July 4, 2020. She had been reported missing by her parents on June 24 of that year.
Bailey said Davidson and two other co-defendants beat and stabbed Pantaleon numerous times before throwing her into the creek while she was still alive. The victim’s body was badly decomposed when it was discovered.
In August, one of the other co-defendants, Erin Taylor, was sentenced to 50 years in prison by Circuit Judge Brooke Reid. In April, Taylor pleaded guilty to murder.
