Mainly cloudy, more rain, some storms Sunday; Drier next week

Saturday was mostly cloudy with scattered rain and some storms. However, much of the rain tapered off across our area during the late evening. Although, additional showers and perhaps storms likely form overnight. Otherwise, the sky remains mainly cloudy with lows near 70° Saturday night. Sunday remains mostly cloudy with scattered showers or storms throughout the day. High temperatures range from the upper 70s to mid 80s.

Our area trends drier next week. Although, clouds and some showers linger Monday and Tuesday. Rain coverage looks slim Wednesday through Friday with sunshine in greater supply and lower humidity. High temperatures rise back to around 90°, while overnight lows trend cooler in the mid and upper 60s. Next weekend may remain mainly dry with high temperatures in the upper 80s.
