Dozier man injured in Covington County crash
A Dozier man was injured in a crash last week in Covington County.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the two-vehicle crash on Thursday, September 12 occurred on U.S. 331 near Friendship Road.
Troopers say 33-year-old Karman Hollinghead was seriously injured when the 2000 Jeep Wrangler he was driving was hit by another vehicle. Troopers say Hollinghead was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected out of the vehicle.
Hollinghead was transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle, 61-year-old Willie Bradley, Jr., and his passenger, 61-year-old Cathy Cunningham of Andalusia, were not hurt.
ALEA’S Highway Patrol Division is investigating the cause of the accident.
