Mainly dry with a mix of sun and clouds this weekend

The remnants of Helene bring significant rain to parts of the mid-Atlantic states, Ohio and mid-Mississippi river valleys Friday. However, the weather in central and south Alabama looks quiet with some sunshine. Meanwhile, winds remain brisk, with gusts of 20 – 30 mph Friday afternoon. Temperatures warm into the low and mid 80s. Friday night looks partly cloudy with lows in the mid to upper 60s.

Our weekend weather looks pleasant. Saturday and Sunday look partly cloudy with perhaps a few stray showers. However, most of our area stays dry. Rain amounts remain insignificant for those that receive a brief downpour. High temperatures range from the low to mid 80s each day, with lows in the 60s each night. Saturday looks a bit breezy, but wind speeds decrease Sunday.

Next week looks mainly dry and warm, with high temperatures in the 80s to near 90°. Stray showers appear possible Monday and Tuesday, with a partly cloudy sky otherwise. Wednesday and Thursday look mostly sunny with no rain. Friday looks partly cloudy and dry.
