Mainly dry and warm weather Sunday and much of next week

Saturday was mainly dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Afternoon temperatures were near or slightly below normal for late September, with highs in the low to mid 80s. A few stray, light, and brief showers were in the mix. However, rain amounts were insignificant, and most locations were dry. Saturday night looks mainly dry and partly cloudy with lows in the mid 60s.

Sunday’s weather looks much like Saturday, though less breezy. The sky remains partly cloudy on average, with high temperatures in the low to mid 80s. Again, a few brief, stray showers appear possible. Although, most of our area remains rain-free. Much of next week looks mainly dry and warm, with high temperatures approaching 90° Wednesday and Thursday. Gulf of Mexico tropical development appears possible again next week- stay tuned for updates.
