Above-average temperatures through Thursday; Some rain Friday

Wednesday looks like another nice Fall day, with warm afternoon temperatures. Highs may be near 90° in some locations. The sky remains partly to mostly sunny, with no rain. Wednesday night looks mostly clear with lows in the mid 60s. Thursday looks partly cloudy and warm with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. Some stray showers appear possible late, but most locations remains dry.

Friday looks more cloudy with some showers. Although, rain amounts may not be heavy. However, showers appear possible throughout the day, mainly during the mid to late morning through the afternoon. Friday evening trends drier, which bodes well for the start of the Alabama National Fair and high school football games. Clouds and rain may hold temperatures in the 70s Friday afternoon.

Isolated showers remain possible Saturday and Sunday, though the weekend looks far from a washout. Otherwise, expect a partly cloudy sky with high temperatures in the mid 80s each day. Though tropical cyclone develop still appears possible in the Gulf of Mexico through this weekend, it appears that system remains south of our area into next week. Our area may remain mostly sunny and dry next Monday through Wednesday.
