New Dave’s Market location open for business in Valley Grande

The owner of a popular supermarket in Valley Grande opens a new multi-million dollar store.

The new Dave’s Market is located on Highway 22 in Valley Grande near the Selma city limit.

Owner David Oliver operated a smaller store a few miles away — since 2010.

He built the new store from the ground up — to make it bigger — and better.

“We outgrew that smaller building we was in. So we needed a bigger building and renting didn’t make a lot of sense. So we went ahead and built our own with the help of Marion Bank. And so we built our own and got what we wanted,” said Oliver.

The new store represents a $4.2 million dollar investment in the Dallas County area.
